Floor Tech

Pawtucketfalls is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Floor Technicians to join our Environmental Services team in a skilled nursing facility. The Floor Tech is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary floors throughout the building, helping provide a comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

• Prior floor care or housekeeping experience preferred (nursing home or hospital experience a plus)

• Knowledge of stripping, waxing, and buffing techniques

• Ability to safely operate commercial floor care equipment

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions

• Strong attendance and reliability

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Round up the trash from each units soiled utility room and bring it out to the dumpster.
* Spot clean all common area floors as needed.
Clean and sanitize the lobby bathrooms, conference room, and rehab.
* Sweep and mop the floors of shower rooms, nurse stations, nurse station bathrooms, and sitting rooms.
* Clean and sanitize the shower rooms, nurse stations, nurse station bathrooms, and sitting
rooms.
* Ensure the toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and sanitizers are full in all common area bathrooms.
* Clean the stairwells as needed.
* Clean and sanitize the employee breakroom and bathrooms.
* Sweep and mop the employee breakroom and bathroom floors.
* Sanitize high touch areas according to the schedule.
* Clean and sanitize wheelchairs according to the schedule.
* Respond to any emergency clean ups on the units.
* Keep supplies stocked on the cart and in the mop closet.
* Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality protocols at all times.
